# Apply to be an ambassador

### Ambassadors help create a welcoming dinner experience, capture photos and videos, and share the night on social media.

Ambassador applications are submitted for specific dinners. You can apply for more than one upcoming dinner, but each dinner requires a separate application.
## Apply for your first dinner
1. Select **Ambassador** on the community dinner club page.
2. Complete your ambassador profile and application questionnaire.
3. Review the ambassador responsibilities and confirm that you can commit to them.
4. Choose the dinner you want to apply for.
5. Select your preferred event location.
6. Select **Submit application**.
You’ll receive an email confirming that your application was received. The community team will then review it and email you once a decision has been made.
Some communities may allow you to apply for upcoming dinners before they are publicly available.

## Apply for additional dinners
Once your ambassador profile has been saved, you won’t need to complete the full questionnaire again.
Visit your ambassador page and find **Apply for an upcoming dinner** or **Would you like to apply for another dinner?** Then:
1. Select the dinner.
2. Choose your preferred event location.
3. Select **Submit application**.
You can submit applications for multiple upcoming dinners.
A community manager may also email you about an ambassador opportunity. Invitations are optional—you can apply directly from your ambassador page whenever applications are open.

## Check your applications
Your ambassador page shows the dinners you’ve applied for and their current status.
Applications may appear as:
* **Awaiting decision:** The community team is still reviewing your application.
* **Confirmed:** You have been selected as an ambassador for the dinner.
* **Not selected:** You weren’t assigned an ambassador spot for that dinner.
Confirmed dinners include a complimentary ambassador ticket. If you can no longer attend, select **Cancel dinner** as soon as possible.

## Before purchasing a ticket
Please don’t purchase a ticket while an ambassador application is awaiting a decision.
If you’re selected, your ambassador ticket will be complimentary. If you already purchased a ticket, your refund will be issued automatically.
If you aren’t selected, you can purchase a regular ticket while seats are available.

## Your ambassador profile
Once you’ve been approved as an ambassador, your profile remains in the community’s ambassador pool. You can use the same saved profile to apply for future dinners without completing the questionnaire again.
Being approved for one dinner does not automatically confirm you for other dinners. The community team reviews and makes a decision on each dinner application separately.
