# How to add VIP guests

### VIPs are guests you can invite to your dinner without having them purchase a ticket.


When you add a VIP, they'll automatically be added to the dinner queue, and we'll include them in the matching process.
### How to add a VIP
1. Go to **Members** in your dashboard.
2. Click **Add VIP**.
3. Enter the guest's information and select the dinner you'd like them to attend.
4. Confirm to add them to the queue.

That's it! Your VIP will receive the usual dinner communications, including their reservation confirmation and restaurant details.

### How VIP tickets work
VIPs receive a complimentary ticket, so they won't be charged for their reservation.
Instead, the ticket cost is covered by your community's Stripe balance and deducted from your earnings. **You'll need a sufficient positive Stripe balance to cover the ticket cost.**

### How are VIPs matched?
VIPs go through the same matching process as other attendees.
We recommend asking them to log in to their dinner club account, go to **My Profile**, and complete their questionnaire answers. This helps us find the best possible group for them.

**Note:** Adding someone as a VIP doesn't guarantee a specific table or restaurant. They'll be matched alongside the other attendees.
