# How to customize attendee communications

DNNR automatically sends important messages to your attendees throughout their dinner experience, from booking confirmations to restaurant reveals and reminders.

You can customize the content of supported messages so they reflect your community's voice.
### Customize your messages
Open the message customization settings in your dashboard and select the communication you'd like to edit.
Depending on the message, you can customize content at different levels:
* **Global:** Apply your changes across your dinner club.
* **Campaign:** Customize messages for a particular dinner campaign.
* **Location:** Add details specific to a dinner location.

### How to tell which messages you've customized
A blue eye icon indicates that a message has been customized and is no longer using the default version.
Want to start over? You can reset the message to its original content at any time.

### What can you customize?
You can personalize the dotted sections of your messages, including welcome notes, reminders, and additional information for guests.
Essential logistics, such as restaurant addresses, reservation details, and other information attendees need to find their dinner, remain locked to ensure accuracy.

**Tip:** A short personal note before dinner can make a big difference. Consider sharing a few conversation ideas or a friendly message to help attendees feel excited about the evening.
